Events rarely go off without a hitch or a broken glass or two. To help alleviate breakage costs, we offer a Damage Waiver that covers breakage and damage to equipment while in your possession. If you accept the Damage Waiver, we will add a non- refundable charge of 12% to your contract. If you decline the waiver, any breakage or damages will be billed at current, retail replacement cost, regardless of cause. The Damage Waiver does not cover missing, stolen or lost items, or items damaged through improper use, vandalism, or negligence.

1. Covered Damages: If the Lessee pays the Damage Waiver Fee, the Lessor agrees to waive its right to recover from the Lessee the cost of repair or replacement for certain accidental damage to the Equipment that occurs during the rental period, provided the damage is not excluded under Section 3

1. Minor accidental damage such as a chair leg breaking during use, a dropped glass, a scratched table, etc.

2. Accidental stains on linens that are deemed professionally removable.

3. Minor, non-structural damage to tent poles, fittings, or fabric.

2. Exclusions: The Damage Waiver is NOT insurance, and it DOES NOT cover or waive the Lessee’s liability for the following damages, losses, or costs. The Lessee remains fully responsible for the following:

1. Vandalism, Loss, or Theft: The mysterious disappearance, conversion, vandalism, or theft of any Equipment.

2. Gross Negligence or Misuse: Damage resulting from gross negligence, intentional abuse, misuse, or failure to follow proper setup/teardown instructions (e.g., leaving a pop-up tent in high winds (30mph+), tampering with or removing tent anchors, using equipment for purposes other than intended).

3. Loss of Accessories: Loss or damage to small, non-serialized accessories, such as tent stakes, ropes, tie-downs, power cords, or protective caps.

4. Water/Weather Damage: Damage to non-waterproof items (e.g., electronics, upholstered items) due to exposure to rain, water, or other extreme weather events.

5. Damage by Third Parties: Damage or injury to persons or property caused by the use, operation, or possession of the Equipment.

6. Failure to Return: Failure to return the Equipment to the Lessor by the specified end date of the Rental Agreement.

*Please note all policies apply to the time equipment is in your possession, defined as the time of delivery to time of pickup for delivered orders, or time of pickup to time of return for will call orders.

Damage Waiver Opt Out:

By signing below you acknowledge that you were informed of and offered the Damage Waiver, and that you are choosing to opt out of the Damage Waiver charge and coverage.
