On a breathtaking hill overlooking a historic reserve, a vision of gold and autumn warmth came to life. The setting was nothing short of a masterpiece, where the natural beauty of a quiet pond met the sweeping, panoramic views of Washington’s most iconic landscapes.

However, creating a luxury dining experience for 200 guests on a steep, six-foot decline required more than just a keen eye for decor, it required a feat of engineering. Our team embraced this challenge, designing a custom-built, load-bearing platform that transformed a rugged slope into a seamless, level foundation. Beneath a glowing tent, guests enjoyed a seated dinner that felt effortless and organic, with sightlines carefully preserved to ensure the scenery remained the guest of honor. It was a day where technical precision met romantic inspiration, proving that with the right vision, no terrain is too difficult to conquer.

An event of this technical scale is only possible through the incredible dedication of a talented vendor team. Working with the team at Luxe Productions was essential; their meticulous planning and coordination over a condensed five-month timeline ensured every detail was seamless.

We also want to thank the iconic Captain Whidbey venue. Their breathtaking grounds provided the ultimate canvas, and their collaboration allowed us to integrate our structural solutions into the landscape with minimal disruption. We are incredibly proud to share that this project was recognized at the ILEA 2026 Emerald City Applause Awards, winning for Best Creative Solution. It is an honor to be celebrated by the Seattle Chapter of the International Live Events Association among such “Legends of the Sea.”
